Recently, I had my second lumbar hernia surgery with Dr. Çiğdem Mumcu. During my 6-month search for a doctor, I saw 8 neurosurgeons. Among them were the most famous surgeons in this field. However, none of them felt right until I met Dr. Çiğdem Mumcu. She is one of the few specialists in Turkey performing lumbar hernia and spinal canal stenosis surgeries developed in South Korea. She has also participated in congresses and surgeries in Japan and India and is incredibly experienced and valuable in closed lumbar hernia UBE surgeries. I found her by chance during my research. During the examination, she spent more time with me than any other doctor and answered all my questions. We were impressed by her knowledge, communication with patients, and care. Right there, I said, this is my doctor. The surgery and recovery process went smoothly, and I regained my health in a short time. I feel lucky to have come across her. If you are looking for a neurosurgeon who listens to their patients attentively, is humane, and very experienced, I highly recommend Çiğdem Mumcu.
