Uzmanlık eğitimini, Marmara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Genel Cerrahi Anabilim Dalı’nda  tamamladı.

Yurt içinde ve yurt dışında birçok kongre katılımı olup, yerli ve yabancı dergilerde makaleleri bulunmakta ve 2 dergide köşe yazarlığı yapmıştır.
