1956 yılında Hatay Samandağ’da doğdu. Lise öğrenimini Mersin Tevfik Sirri Gür Lisesi’nde tamamladı. Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tip Fakültesi hastanesi’nde yüksek öğretimini tamamladı. Sau Arabistan, İngiltere ve İstanbul Kartal Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesinde göz doktoru olarak uzmanlık ihtisasını tamamladı. İskenderun Devlet Hastanesinde mecburi hizmetini tamamladı. Eylül 2018 den itibaren Özel Mersin Su Hastanesi’nde görevine devam etmektedir.
