Robert Kolej ve İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi mezunudur. Monash Üniversitesinde bir yıl erkek kısırlığı mikrocerrahisi eğitimi almış, Türkiye'de ilk mikrocerrahi varikosel ameliyatını 1992'de İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi (Çapa)'da başlatmıştır. Son 20 yıldır sadece mikrocerrahi varikosel ameliyatları ve başarısız varikosel ameliyatı yapılmış olanlara mikrocerrahi düzeltme ameliyatları yapmaktadır.
