1979-80 eğitim yılında Ç.Ü. Tıp Fakültesi’nde eğitime başladım. ve 1985 yılında tamamladım. Mecburi hizmet görevimi Giresun'un espiye ilçesinde yaptım. 2-2,5 yıl süren mecburi hizmetten sonra İstanbul Vakıf Gureba Hastanesi Genel Cerrahi Kliniğinde uzmanlık eğitimine başladım. daha sonra da Haydarpaşa Numune Hastanesi Genel Cerrahi Kliniğine atandım. 1992 yılı temmuzunda Genel Cerrahi Uzmanlık eğitimimi tamamladım. 2003 yılında Adana Numune Hastanesi’ne atamam yapıldı. 2010 yılına kadar Numune Hastanesinde görev yaptım. 2010 yılı Haziran ayında devlet memurluğundan ayrılarak şu anki adresimde serbest hekimlik yapmaktayım.
