1969 yılında Afyon ilinin Emirdağ ilçesinde doğdu. İlk ve orta öğrenimini Almanya’da tamamladı. Gülhane Askeri Tıp Fakültesini 1994 yılında bitirdi. 2007 yılında Doçent 2013 yılında Profesörlüğe atandı. 2015 yılında TOBB ETÜ Tıp Fakültesi, Sağlık Uygulama ve Araştırma Hastanesine başladı. Halen aynı hastanede görevine devam etmektedir.
