İstanbul Üniversitesi Dişhekimliği Fakültesi'nden 1968 yılında mezun oldu. Daha sonra Bolu Gerede Devlet Hastanesi,Tarsus Ana Çocuk Sağlığı ve Mersin Ana Çocuk Sağlığı'nda başhekim ve diş hekimi olarak görev yaptı. Aynı zamanda muayenehane hekimliği de yaptı. Halen muayenehanesinde çalışmaktadır.
