İstanbul Saint Joseph Fransız Erkek Lisesi ve Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'nden mezun oldu. Hacettepe Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Enstitüsü Anatomi Doktora programını bitirdi. 2003 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Genel Cerrahi Anabilim Dalında başladığı ihtisasını tamamladı. 2000 yılında Centre Hospitalier Lyon Sud-Fransa’da 6 ay süre ile cerrahi onkoloji servisinde görev yaptı. 2010 yılında Yardımcı Doçent, 2012 yılında Doçent ünvanını aldı.
