Türkiye de devlet bursu kazanarak uzak doğuda ingilizce tıp fakültesini bitirdi. 1985 te Türkiye ye dönüp İzmir 9 Eylül Üniversitesi genel cerrahi bölümünü kazanarak ihtisasa basladı.1990 yılında İstanbul Gümüşsuyu Askeri Hastanesinde genel cerrahi uzmanı olarak görev yaptı daha sonra Erzurum'da mecburi hizmet ve başhekimlik görevlerini yürüttü.1995 yılında Erdemli Devlet Hastanesi, Mersin Devlet Hastanesi ve Mersın Sehır Hastenesinde görev yaptı. Özel Mersin Su Hastanesinde görev yapmaktadır.
