Üniversite eğitimimi 1974'te Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'nde tamamladıktan sonra Ankara Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi'nde Genel Cerrahi İhtisası'mı 1978'de bitirdim. 1982-1985 yılları arasında Türkiye Yüksek İhtisas Hastanesi'nde Gastroenteroloji Cerrahisi Üst İhtisası'mı yaptım. Halen Ankara Yenimahalle Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi'nde görev yapmaktayım.
