Prof. Dr. Sinan Altan Kocaman

I was born in Ankara in 1980. I completed my primary and secondary education in my hometown of Artvin. I graduated from İnebolu High School in 1997 and started Ankara University Faculty of Medicine the same year. I received my Medical Doctor degree in 2003. That same year, I achieved a top ranking in Turkey in the medical specialization exam.

I began my cardiology specialization training at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiology, and became a cardiology specialist in 2008.

I completed my compulsory service as an interventional cardiologist at Rize Training and Research Hospital.

I completed my military service as a specialist doctor at Bursa Military Hospital.

I worked in the field of electrophysiology with Prof. Dr. Remzi Karaoğuz at Ankara Güven Hospital. I received my Associate Professor title in January 2014 and my Professor title in 2023.

Throughout my academic career, I have published numerous highly cited scientific papers both domestically and internationally. Besides clinical medical education and treatment services, I provide patent and consulting services in medical engineering. I am a member of national and international scientific societies. I work in the fields of interventional cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology (arrhythmology).
