Prof. Ahmet Tunç Özdemir, M.D., is an experienced urologist and robotic surgeon practicing at Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital, where he has served since 2018. With a clinical career spanning more than two decades, he combines traditional urological surgery with advanced robotic techniques, offering patients minimally invasive treatment options across a broad range of urological conditions.
Prof. Özdemir completed his medical education at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine and obtained his specialization in Urology at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2004. He later expanded his expertise in robotic urology and uro-oncology through advanced training at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, Italy, in 2011, and was appointed Associate Professor at Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2018.
His clinical interests focus on the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases and urinary stone disease, alongside a wider practice that includes robotic and minimally invasive urological surgery. Over the course of his career he has held specialist and academic positions at several leading institutions, building extensive surgical experience in both oncological and reconstructive urology.
Prof. Özdemir is an active contributor to the scientific literature, with numerous articles published in international peer-reviewed journals on subjects including robotic radical surgery, prostate and bladder conditions, and functional urology.
He consults with patients in Turkish and English.
